Bakesale will shape the future of Nigeria- Aliu Odunayo

Aliu Odunayo is an exceptional lady who has been impacting lives even as an undergraduate student of Adeyemi College Education . She has been consciously shaping the future of our dear nation Nigeria by investigating in Her younger citizens, let's  see how it been possible for her...

CollegeProfilez: Young lady, please can we meet you?

Odun: My Name is Aliu Odunayo, from Ondo State, Nigeria. The first of several children.

CollegeProfilez: Tell us about your educational background?

Odun: I had my elementary education across different parts of three states in the South West ( Oyo, Ekiti, and Ondo State)   this was due to the transitory nature of my parents' job. High school wasn't so different too, started in the capital city of Ondo State, moved to a town in Ekiti state, then came back to Akure to complete it. If only Nigeria Education System would allow me to swap between universities as willed; I might have gone through four already (LOL)... Anyway, since it is not allowed, I studied Biology Education at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo.

CollegeProfilez: lol, that was hilarious, well... As the founder of Plethora initiative, What is Plethora? And why plethora?

Odun: Plethora means Abundance. Abundance, because the earth has enough resource for its inhabitants; if some will not just accrue wealth to themselves but also share with one another (especially the undeserved populations). Plethora initiative is a non governmental organization that strongly believe that every child has the right to education irrespective of their socioeconomic background.

CollegeProfilez: How many children/kids have been impacted since you started?

CollegeProfilez: You recently graduated from the college, has this started since then or after college, if during college how were you coping?

Odun: We started since my college days. I had worked with different organisations prior to that time, done several businesses too ( before and during my university days), so I've learnt how to balance between many things, and I'm glad to say my academics never suffered for any of these.

CollegeProfilez: How do you source for fund?

Odun: Personal finance. Team donations and individuals contributions

CollegeProfilez: What has being other challenges so far aside finance?

Odun: People; especially children, seeing the kind of life they are made to live and depth of suffering some face daily knowing fully well that if given the right set of support, their quality of life will not only be improved, they can also harness their potentials to the fullest. The many we take off the streets, the merrier, this dream keeps me motivated day and night.

CollegeProfilez: Who and who are on your team?
