collegeprofiles: Tell us about your background
ADETAYO: That’s a very nice question because i have thinking that a day is coming when that question will be asked,my background is fair but rugged,growing up with friends, working different kinds of job to get paid and struggling to get somethings but thank God that things are changing for the better and a book by Robert Schuller keep me moving “When the goings get tough”…
collegeprofiles: Tell us more global impact organization(GIO)
ADETAYO: Global impact organization is an organization with core vision of IMPACT I-inspire people M-motivate youth for global relevance P-power youth passion A-adding value to businesses and brand C-change agent or catalytic for change T-transformational agent,Having the mandate of holding seminars and conferences for Teens,teenage-secondary school students and youth-undergraduate and graduates.
collegeprofiles: What has Global impact organisation been able to do since its establishment?
ADETAYO: Seminars on Personal Development,Potential discovery,entrepreneurship,career development,etc by inviting influencial people to share their ideas and thoughts.
collegeprofiles: How many programs have you held, where and how many people have you reached out to?
ADETAYO: we have done seminars for secondary schools student in Ogbomoso on right attitude and moral values and which we still have some invitation to many schools now and currently planning of holding another event for undergraduates in lautech,leadership training for all reps,and faculty executive.we have done like two programmes as we are just kicking off and close to 150 students were present at nurudeen grammar school but currently having an invitations to some schools now like Anglican grammar school etc
collegeprofiles: Are your programs limited to Ogbomoso alone?
ADETAYO: We are going global as the name implies by God grace because all youths must be revitalize and orientated to stand a chance of taking responsibility for others and not a liability.
collegeprofiles: What are some challenges you have been facing?
ADETAYO: We have been facing numerous challenges especially funding and at times the school schedule they gave us might collide,but by his grace things have been working out well.
collegeprofiles: As the initiator of visionate foundation and co-founder of co-founder of GIO how have you been coping with studies as an undergraduate?
ADETAYO: It has not been easy but by the grace of God and passion to make a change which is the primary driven force.
collegeprofiles: What has being your parent’s reaction to your projects?
ADETAYO: They really like it because they believe following someone’s mind in as much as the ignition of passion is there,and they knew that i can decide what i want provided it is good.
collegeprofiles: Where do you see your Organizations in the Next 5 years?
ADETAYO: By the grace of God in next 5years the organization would have spread and hold programs in almost the south west states for teens,teenagers and youths and train many leaders in some institutions..we are going global.
collegeprofiles: What advise do you have for your fellow undergraduates?
ADETAYO: Every undergraduate must be able to define his or herself and discover the full manifestation of their potential so as that they will be able to venture into what they are passionate about and every youth must be thinking and be equiped to be M.A.D(Making a difference)..we can do it,we can change a generation for the better Abraham Lincoln says”i wish above all thing that my name will be written in the heart of history”
